Community Association Alert
SAFETY ALERT
This alert message was sent out to the residents of Julington Creek Plantation, we thought we'd post it here as they give some great guidelines for all of our neighborhoods.
I would like to take this opportunity to inform you that over the past week we have received reports that there have been three attempts to break into homes or peep in windows. To keep your home safe, remember to lock your windows and doors and keep the exterior of your home well lit (with exterior lights or motion activated lights). With the cooler weather, it is tempting to sleep with your windows open. If you choose to do this, make sure that you have window locks that do not allow the windows to open beyond a width that would allow someone to enter through the window. Another preventative measure is to make sure your hedges and bushes are trimmed so that you do not provide a place where someone can attempt to enter your house without being visible to neighbors or from the street. Make sure you keep your garage doors closed and your cars locked so that there is no easy access to any of your belongings. Please work with your neighbors to make sure that you are watching out for each other.
